The Rock Wood Fired Pizza

This is one of the best pizza joints I have been to in years. The classic rock and roll playing along with the entire restaurant being dedicated to rock and roll. The food was absolutely amazing, served hot and fresh. The wait staff were all very polite and the manager even stopped by to ask how the food was and if there was anything he could do to make the experience better. Outstanding customer service.

We ordered pizza and there was a miscommunication. The manager was so awesome and accommodating to us. Thank you for fixing my mom's birthday!

This place is okay. I had California Dreaming pizza, which was okay, nothing to be impressed about. Burgers were dry and bland. Lemonades were probably the best items here. Chicken and broccoli pasta was fine, but not necessarily exceptional. The bright side of this place is that server was very friendly. Would I go out of the way to visit here? Not really.

Love the rocker atmosphere! really good food and friendly staff. Pizza was incredible, even the kids meal pasta was large portions... Definitely worth the money can't wait to go back. Next time I'm not going to be the driver so I can try their bucket drinks 💜they look incredible🎸 fun and impressive Bar menu

There was some turmoil in the kitchen today, either it was training day or someone didnt show up for work. A calzone was delivered blackened to a crisp, as was the chicken. Our waitress was very pleasant and fixed everything in a timely fashion.

Was a bad experience. Been to this Rock and other locations many times over the years but seems like management is really lacking here. Host was slowly clearing tables in a mostly empty dining room while several parties waited 10-15 minutes to be seated. Tons of staff standing around chatting to each other most of our long visit. The soda fountain was completely flat and nobody seemed to know how to fix it and they kept bringing new customers flat sodas. Our food took about an hour for a small pizza and a wrap. Probably wont be back to this location.

First my disclaimer I am hard on chain restaurants because they have the formula made for them. All they have to do is follow instructions. So my review is based on service, food and how well they followed a formula.The atmosphere was great, fireplace, good music, we sat in the bar so TVs and a fun time. The service was very good, she was knowledgeable about the drinks and food. The main course was very good the biggest complaint was the chips. They where "cooked" on sight but about 1 out of every 4 was not quite done thus giving a quasi chip, a chewable chip if you will. If that sounds unpleasant then I have done my job correctly. But over all for the price it was a good experience. M-F Happy hour 3-6 and 9-last call. Some good prices and good atmosphere.

This restaurant was a bit of a drive to get to. It had been about a year since we ate here, this time it was pizza to go. The gal who was helping me informed me right away that she was very new and had been working only a few days. With that being said, she did a great job answering all my questions regarding there pizza. Between her and another waitress suggesting two pizzas to try, I finally made my decision and 20 minutes later I was on my way home. My husband and our boys loved the pizza's, me not so much. I thought for the price $25 per pizza, they should have more meat on them.

Excellent place to visit. Has been remodeled with a new look. Food is great and plenty of options. Staffing makes you feel welcome.

Service was a little lacking but the food was good. Should have ordered a double on my burger. Definitely would give them another go. A wider beer selection would be good too.

My wife and I both own businesses so follow up and follow through are both very important. Ordering from the rock is not the cheapest option for delivery pizza. We ordered through DoorDash and got the pizza. The pizza was cold when we got it and was missing some sauces on the side we ordered. The pizzas seemed unevenly cooked and not as good as we ordered in the past. We tried to report to Doordash but were getting some errors. When I called the restaurant they assured us we could go through Doordash, no luck the following seven times I tried to call back to the restaurant it sounded like they picked up the phone and hung it up. When I finally got ahold of the same person as before, they said they couldnt do anything but that turned into offering to remake the order, then into calling doordash and following up with us. Well its been a week and a half without any follow up so heres your review and our experience.

Super good pizza and staff!! I went in to order pizzas to go right at dinner time and even though they were busy EVERY member of the staff I had any contact with was beyond helpful cheerful and welcoming . I had my 3 1/2 year old nephew with me and they gave us a little table to sit at by the to go pizza area that was perfect for us so he could play with his little toys on the table and I decided to order us something to drink while we waited and when they brought our pizzas to us I asked for the bill for the two strawberry lemonades I ordered and the very nice server said don't worry about it and that we waited for our pizzas for longer than usual and they appreciated our patience. I will definitely continue to order pizzas from the Rock and go dine in as well!!

Our waitress was awesome she was on it coming back and forth offering us more soda and finally she brought us complimentary fries as we waited over 1hr for our pizza's. Make sure you bring snacks for your children, it's no fun when they are hungry. Grant you it was crowded. I did see team work as they hurried around clearing tables. I know I will give them another chance only to see if the time of day makes the difference.The pizza I ordered was off the hook.The fries were good as well.

Was good. Slow so everybody was hands on manger did table touches. Good job.

Like other raters I find this place hit and miss. It's so sad because it used to always be fantastic! Not sure if they have changed hands. Sometimes the food tastes great and the service is wonderful. Other times I have sent the food back which I never do and go somewhere else to eat. Too bad

Spent over an hour waiting for our appetizer alone, and they were not that busy. Many tables were empty. I had the "calzone", which was mostly bread, and the chicken was extremely bland and tasted as though it was straight from a can. My husband had the impossible burger, which was served to him cold. They offered to reheat it since it was supposedly the last one they had. That took 20 minutes. The only good thing about my experience here was the waitress. She was kind and sincere. But that's not enough for me to ever want to go back.

Outstanding wood fired pizza, loved the atmosphere and the decor! Such a fun place with the greatest food and service. Top notch!! Wayne the general manager spent some time with us explaining the owners goals with this business and there objectives for the best foods, consistency and quality. By far an awsome family pizza place. Loved how they gave my daughters pizza dough to play with then after they moulded it they baked it for them. Outstanding!!!!

We went into the Rock in Federal Way today. For the $3.14 pi deal. We asked the person at the front door. If the deal was at this Rock and she said yes. We chose to sit in the bar. We asked the waitress about the Pi deal and she confirmed that the price of $3.14 was for the personal pizzasHowever my wife and I were quite surprised when they charged full price for the second pizza. It's not a big deal but we think that they need to clarify this next time.As usual the for and service was great

The waitress was friendly, sadly overworked. The salad was just ok. Super slow pizza making! We weren’t pre-warned that it would take an hour! On a Monday night. Unfortunately the pizza wasn’t worth the wait. True to it’s name, it was “rock” hard. Flavor wasn’t bad though

The place has a very eclectic interior, great service and lots of classic rock playing. There is a heavy preponderance towards head-banging rock, not my favorite, but oh well.The pizzas are all cooked in a wood fired brick oven. Ours came out over cooked, with a really crunchy crust. I have had much better brick oven pizza before, so I know it's possible to make. The sauce is OK, but missing garlic and oregano found in a classic red sauce.The location was very convenient, easy access parking, and great freeway access.
